San Francisco Happy Hour: Ten of My Favorite Places to Spend Happy Hour in SF

San Francisco Happy Hour: After a long workday, Happy Hour is a good way to unwind and enjoy cocktails or appetizers at a discount price. These bars and restaurants offer the top Happy Hour specials in San Francisco.

You will find amazing San Francisco happy hours almost every day of the year. You can find them at Noc Noc in Lower Haight, or at Fly Bar in Alamo Square.

San Francisco Happy Hour

Here’s a list of my ten favorites after I did some “research” for you.

San Francisco Happy Hour

1. Rosamunde Sausage Grill in the Mission

Address: 2832 Mission Street

Community: Vision

Happy hour: Monday to Friday, 4 pm-6 pm

Rosamunde Sausage Grill is a favorite San Francisco spot for happy hour. It’s located in Mission. The food, atmosphere, and drink specials are all my favorites.

Get $1 off your entire purchase of taps Monday through Friday between 4 pm and 6 pm You can choose from a wide range of beers, ranging in price from $4 to $8 or $3 to $7 for their happy hour offer.

You should also order their famous sausages. It is hard to choose which sausage I want, but I tend to favor the chicken apple sausage every time. Order a side of their potato soup if you really feel hungry. It is simply amazing!

Rosamunde, which is also in Oakland, has a large outdoor deck from where you can watch people and take in the stunning SF weather. You should bring your jacket, as it can get very cold when the sun is hidden behind clouds or fog.

2. Fly Bar

Address: 762 Divisadero Street

Neighborhood: Alamo Square/NoPa

Happy Hour Monday through Friday, noon to 6 pm

One of my favorite bars is The Fly Bar. I love to go through their doors every time they have a happy hour in San Francisco. This bar is a great place to meet locals and enjoy well-priced food.

You can enjoy both their drink- and food specials on weekdays. You can get pizzas starting at $8 and house wine starting at $6. They also offer sangria for only $4.

Happy hour is my favorite time to order one of their draft beer and their hummus and pita. The pizzas they make are amazing, my favorite being the caramel blue with blue cheese.

It’s the ideal way to unwind after a long workday or at work!

3. Noc Noc

Address 557 Haight Street

Community: Lower Hight

Happy Hour: Monday to Thursday, 5pm – 7pm; Friday, 3:30pm- 7pm; Saturday, 3pm – 7pm. Sunday, 3pm – 7pm

This funky bar serves late-night revelers, making it the perfect spot to unwind with a cold drink during happy hours.

You can find a wide range of beers in both the bottles and tap. The focus is on craft beer, so there won’t be any Coors, Bud Light, PBR, or Bud Light. The beer selection rotates so that you always have something to try.

Not Noc’s happy hour begins at 6 pm and continues until 7 pm. $3 off all local pints is available during this period.

While you enjoy your drinks, be sure to take a look at the bar. The whole place is decorated with beautiful artwork.

4. Sens Restaurant

Address: 4 Embarcadero (on Promenade Level).

Neighborhood: Financial District/Embarcadero

Happy Hour: Monday through Friday, 3 pm – 8 pm and Saturday, 5 pm – 10 pm

The Sens Restaurant is very popular with those in the Financial District who wait to catch their ferries back home. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I had joined a friend at happy hour.

First, I love that their happy hour lasts so long. You don’t need to rush over from work.

You can also head over to the restaurant mid-afternoon for some tasty appetizers and a refreshing drink.

I love their appetizers and the variety of their happy hour menu. Everything will be discounted, including their Mediterranean spreads which are my favorite, and their New Caledonia blue Prawns. They also have crispy parmesan chicken wings and crispy parmesan pasta.

A few drink specials are also available. These are subject to change so be sure to ask your server.

5. Topsy’s Fun House

Address: at 260 Kearny Street

Neighborhood: Financial District

Happy Hour: Monday to Friday from 2 pm to 7 pm

Topsy’s Fun House, a vibrant bar in the Financial District, is home to Topsy. This bar is a theatrical, artsy cocktail lounge with fun touches such as the giant springs for barstools. The 100-inch projector screen is also a hit with sports fans.

All cocktails during happy hour are $9, and the house craft beer is $6. You will find a great, classic Old Fashioned as well as a twist on the Moscow Mule and other delicious concoctions.

While the menu isn’t extensive, you can find delicious appetizers to go with your drinks. For $3 tacos, stop by Tuesday.

6. Lush Lounge

Address: 1221 Polk Street

Neighborhood: Lower Nob Hill

Happy Hour: Monday-Friday 3pm-7pm, Saturday 1pm-7pm. Sunday 1pm-7pm

Lush Lounge was once my favorite neighborhood bar until I moved to a different area. But I still go back to Lush Lounge often for their fantastic San Francisco happy hours.

Lush Lounge is the bar’s name. This bar is known for serving some of the most powerful drinks in town. If you’re here at all, you will only need two.

The owners are passionate about their customers and love to have a great time with them. There are $3 Heineken draft beverages, $5 glasses selected wines, $6 glass of selected champagnes, and a selection of $7-$8 cocktail deals.

Their happy hour also has a pleasant side: it is available 7 days per week!

7. Beach Chalet

Address: 1000 Great Highway

Neighborhood: Outer Richmond

Happy hour: Monday to Friday, 3 pm-6 pm

Beach Chalet lies on the western side of Golden Gate Park across from Ocean Beach. Even though it is far from the heart, it is a great spot to enjoy San Francisco’s happy hours on a sunny day.

The Beach Chalet’s happy hours offer $4.50 pints and $9 cocktails as well as a variety of wines at $8. Get a snack like their delicious sliders for $3.50, crispy chicken wings, or calamari for $7, or their “burger and-a-beer” special for $10.

It’s a beautiful place to walk, and I love the peaceful outdoor seating. It’s an amazing place to be on a sunny day.

They have free parking but it is best to take the 5 Fulton bus (or the N Judah rail train) to get there. The Beach Chalet is just two blocks from both buses.

8. Bar Crudo

Address: 655 Divisadero Street

Neighborhood: Alamo Square/NoPa

Happy hour: Everyday, 5pm – 6:30pm

Bar Crudo in San Francisco is the perfect spot for seafood lovers. This adorable bar and restaurant can be found just a block away from Alamo Square. It is also known as the NoPa Area.

They offer happy hour every day from 5 pm to 6:15 pm. Select beers are $5 off their menu. For $7, you can get a glass of wine or red wine.

Happy hour is my favorite time at this restaurant because of the food menu. You can get select oysters or mussels starting at $1.50 each. You can also enjoy their Manila clams at $7 or the seafood chowder at $8.

Bar Crudo is usually more crowded than other places on the list. This makes it a great spot for happy hour in San Francisco.

9. One Market

Address – 1 Market Street

Neighborhood: Financial District/SoMa/Embarcadero

Happy Hour: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-8pm, Saturday 5:30pm-9pm

It is a very popular spot for happy hours during the week for people working in the Financial District. One Market is an elegant, stylish restaurant. But, the happy hour is limited to the bar and lounge.

Enjoy happy hour specials including $6 draft beers and $8 glasses of select wine, as well as cocktail specials starting at $7 They also offer small plates on their bar menu.

If you would like to reserve a place, it’s best if you arrive early. We recommend arriving no later than 4 pm, as the place is packed by 5 pm. It’s still a fun place where you can enjoy happy hour specials, even if there isn’t a seat available immediately. It’s a great place for meeting people from San Francisco and all over the Bay Area.

10. Redford Restaurant San Francisco

Address: 673 Geary Street

Neighborhood: Tenderloin

Happy Hour: Tuesdays, 5 pm-7 pm

Redford, a relatively new location in San Francisco, is the perfect place for a fun and affordable San Francisco happy hour. It features modern decor and beautiful wooden bars.

This place is great for happy hour. It is a relaxed environment that allows everyone to meet and socialize after work.

You can get discounts on your food every Tuesday from 5 pm-7 pm and Tuesdays from 7 pm-10 pm. You can get a $10 house cocktail. If this seems a bit steep, you can order one of their good cocktails for $7 or a draft beer for $5.

Certain wines can also be found at up to half off

It can get very crowded around 5 pm so it is best to arrive early to ensure a spot. The downside to this is the lower quality of service as the bar fills up. So order your drinks as soon you enter the building.
